Dr. Chainey Umphrey: 1996 Olympian, specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Mohini Bhardwaj: Mohini was captain of the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team that won the silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. She was a member of the U.S. Teams for the World Championships in 2001, where the USA won the bronze medal, and 1997. In 2001, she won the U.S. national title on vault. At the NCAA level, Bhardwaj competed for UCLA from 1998-2001, during they won back-to-back team titles (2000-01), and she received both the AAI Award and Honda Award. She also earned 11 All-American citations during her collegiate career and was recently inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame. Currently, she owns, operates, and serves as club director for Oregon Olympic Athletics. She holds the U.S. Brevet judges rating.

Kristen “Kristy” Powell: Kristi is a celebrated former American gymnast hailing from Stuart, Florida. Recognized for her exceptional talent, Kristy was invited by renowned coach Béla Károlyi to train under him at just nine years old. Her illustrious career includes becoming the co-national All-Around Champion with Vanessa Atler in 1997 and securing multiple gold medals with the U.S. team. After retiring from competitive gymnastics, Kristy transitioned to Cirque du Soleil in 2003 as a pioneering aerialist for La Nouba, where she became the show’s first American trapeze artist. Her journey from gymnastics to the circus world showcases her remarkable passion and resilience.

Mia Townes: Mia is a former NCAA gymnast and scholar with a strong record of accomplishments. She is a two-time Level 10 Junior Olympic National qualifier and has been a finalist for the Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup Award, an honor given for leadership and sportsmanship. In 2022, Mia qualified for the NCAA Championships on vault and received the University of Illinois Spirit Award. Mia is a four-time Second Team All-Big Ten athlete (2021, 2022, 2023) and a five-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024). She was also named a CSC Academic All-District recipient in 2024. Additionally, she served on the 2023-2024 SAAC Executive Board. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Mia is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business. She has also been involved in coaching and choreography for the past four years, helping develop young athletes and guiding them to reach their full potential and achieve success! 

Quin Shannon: coaching gymnastics since 1994. He has owned and operated his own mobile Pre-school & Gymnastics Program. He has directed many programs from recreational levels through Elite levels. He has also been a clinician at many USAG congress sessions and camps.

Chevy Slater:  former USAG athlete, professional swing dancer, appeared on So You Think You Can Dance & Good Morning America.

Brian Loomis: Former UC-Berkeley WAG Assistant Coach, Current Top Flight Gymnastics Head Coach.

Rod Radunzel: With an over 30-year career as a USAG Nationally Rated gymnastics coach, Rod is a Nationally Rated/ NCAA judge who has played a leadership role in NorCal and Region 1 gymnastics. Throughout his career, he has been a dedicated mentor focused on athlete empowerment and development. His coaching has helped numerous gymnasts to qualify for USAG Nationals and earn athletic scholarships to prestigious universities, including Cal Berkeley, UC Davis, Stanford, San Jose State, and the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). Rod is the current NorCal Women’s Gymnastics (Coaches Association) Chair. When he isn’t judging or coaching, he’s working on his MA in Academic Advising and playing with his Chihuahua rescues, Maxwell and Chuck.

Hannah Holat: Hannah is a competitive gymnast and coach with degrees in Nutrition and Sport Coaching, recently winning the 2025 L9 USAIGC National All-Around title.
